Job Description

Are you practical, hands-on, and proud of creating welcoming environments? We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Premises Team on a flexible contract to help keep our academy looking its very best.

This is a varied and rewarding role. Alongside helping to maintain a clean, safe, and tidy academy, we are particularly keen to hear from candidates with excellent decorating experience. Keeping our campus fresh and well-presented can sometimes feel like painting the Forth Road Bridge - there is always something to do!

In this role, you will take ownership of site painting and decorating projects, managing everything from surface preparation to achieving a high-quality finish. Additional duties include routine maintenance, janitorial tasks, and cleaning services, ensuring all work areas remain safe and organised.

The ideal candidate can resolve problems independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and take pride in delivering top-tier workmanship. To be successful, you should demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills. Previous experience in painting and decorating is essential, whilst experience in caretaking, or the building trade is desirable.
