Tired of watching opportunities die in committee.

Do you know you can grow accounts, win new business, and drive serious revenue - but you’re stuck inside a corporate machine that rewards politics over performance?

We might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Grant Foods is an ambitious, independent Scottish food manufacturer with over 100 years of heritage - and we’re entering a serious growth phase. We need a commercially sharp, experienced Sales Manager who wants freedom, responsibility, and the chance to actually make an impact.

This is not a corporate role.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a build-and-grow role.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of our sales growth strategy across:

  • Retail (own label & branded)
  • Foodservice & wholesale
  • New product launches

You will work directly with senior leadership. No bureaucracy. No layers. Just accountability and results.

We want someone who sees opportunities others don’t. Someone who can walk into a buyer meeting and control the room. Someone commercially aggressive but strategically intelligent.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Driving revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Identifying and winning new national and regional accounts
  • Managing and expanding key existing customers
  • Negotiating contracts and trading agreements
  • Analysing performance data and turning insight into action
  • Working cross-functionally with production, technical and operations to deliver growth safely and profitably
  • Building a structured pipeline and clear forecasting model

Who This Role Is For

  • An experienced FMCG National Account Manager who is frustrated by corporate red tape
  • A Business Development Manager who wants more autonomy
  • A senior sales professional who knows they can do more - but isn’t allowed to
  • A commercially driven operator who thrives on responsibility and ownership

You are:

  • Confident in front of buyers
  • Comfortable with margin, pricing and commercial modelling
  • Relentless in follow-up
  • Strategically minded but action-oriented
  • Resilient
  • Not afraid of accountability

Who This Role Is NOT For

  • Anyone who needs constant direction
  • Anyone uncomfortable with performance visibility
  • Anyone who blames market conditions instead of adapting

What We Offer

  • Direct access to decision makers
  • The ability to shape strategy
  • Performance-linked reward
  • A business in digital transformation and sustainable growth mode
  • The opportunity to build something meaningful

Location

Based in Ayrshire, with travel as required.
