Full-time (38 hours/week) | 29 Days Holiday (incl. 8 stat days)

We are on the lookout for a hands-on, driven Electrical Project Lead to join our team in Ballymena. If you're a qualified electrician with solid project management experience, this could be your next move.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong electrical background
  • Confident managing projects from start to finish including planning, budgeting, contractor management, and ensuring safety standards are met on-site
  • Organised, proactive, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to lead teams, solve problems on the fly, and keep projects running smoothly

Key Requirements:

  • Fully qualified electrician
  • At least 5 years' experience in electrical project management
  • Strong background in installing and commissioning LV distribution panels
  • Confident leading teams and managing contractors on active site
  • Solid understanding of health & safety practices (IOSH Managing Safely preferred)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • HV experience a bonus - but not essential (we'll train you up!)

The Role Includes:

  • Leading and delivering electrical engineering projects
  • Planning, scheduling, and keeping track of budgets
  • Attending and running project meetings
  • Overseeing contractors and enforcing safety procedures
  • Writing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Managing QA compliance and producing handover documentation
  • Supporting commissioning and testing (FAT/SAT)
  • Problem-solving and providing on-site solutions
  • Generating project reports and keeping senior management in the loop
  • Flexibility may be required occasionally (e.g. weekends) depending on project needs.
