Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the kitchen operation during night service.
- Prepare, cook, and present food to a consistently high 5‑star standard, maintaining quality, freshness, and presentation across all dishes.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of room service orders throughout the night, ensuring prompt and professional service that meets guest expectations.
- Complete general food preparation tasks to support the next day’s service, including mise en place, stock rotation, and section setup.
- Follow all recipe specifications and uphold culinary standards set by the senior chefs.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all kitchen areas in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or wastage to the senior kitchen team.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, such as Night Managers and Front Office, to ensure seamless service to guests.
- Take responsibility for the kitchen operation overnight, ensuring security and adherence to hotel policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury or 5‑star environment.
- Strong culinary skills and passion for high‑quality food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts.
