Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that every guest has an excellent and memorable welcome and stay at the hotel, enjoying excellent service and hospitality
• Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring the luggage arrives at the guest’s bedroom in a timely manner, taking luggage to the guest’s car and stored securely when necessary
• Having a varied knowledge of the local area/Yorkshire, the ability to schedule arrangements for guests such as carriages, valet cleaning & route planning
• Ensuring all guests’ needs are exceeded at every opportunity
• Moving furniture and setting up rooms for events when required, ensuring the hotels’ 5-star standards are met
• Ensuring the hotel lobby and surrounding areas are kept spotless, polishing reflective surfaces and ensuring they are dust free throughout
• Maintaining the appearance, cleanliness and safety standards which are set out by management
• Assisting in other areas of the hotel when needed
• Ensuring that you stay proactive during less demanding periods
• Must possess a polite etiquette
• Must have impeccable grooming standards
