Grantham Foodbank seeks a Trustee to lead on fundraising and grants, helping secure vital income to support our work. You’ll shape fundraising strategy, develop funding bids and strengthen community support for people facing hardship.

About Grantham Foodbank
Grantham Foodbank is part of The Trussell Trust network, working to provide relief of poverty in Grantham and surrounding areas, in particular but not exclusively by providing emergency food supplies to individuals in need and/or to charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

Our Work
We provide emergency food parcels to individuals and families experiencing hardship, alongside guidance and signposting through strong local partnerships. We work closely with referring agencies to ensure timely and appropriate support and contribute to wider Trussell Trust initiatives that tackle the underlying causes of poverty.

Governance
The Foodbank is guided by a committed Board of Trustees responsible for strategic oversight and governance. Trustees meet approximately 10 times per year, plus an annual strategy day, working collectively to ensure the charity operates safely, legally, and effectively, and continues to meet its charitable objectives.

Impact
Over the past year, Grantham Foodbank has supported over 8,800 people across the local community. We maintain strong partnerships with schools, health services, charities, and other local agencies. Our volunteers are essential to all aspects of the Foodbank’s operations, helping us remain a trusted and vital emergency resource for those facing food insecurity.
