In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing rotating equipment such as motors, gearboxes and pumps to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities
- Assess and repair motors, pumps and gearboxes from various environments
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical instruments safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks
- Maintain accurate records of the repair journey to enable customer transparency and alignment with quotes provided.
- Collaborate with team members to identify mechanical issues promptly and implement effective solutions
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within manufacturing, repair and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for assembly and repair tasks
- Familiarity with assembly processes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
