An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Semi-Skilled Operator to join our business in the heart of Edinburgh. This role will be responsible for various tasks that support the overall operation in production of the UK’s leading bathroom panel brand, Multipanel.
Day shifts: 8:00am - 4:30pm
£15.53 hourly rate
Responsibilities- Determine sequence of operations by following machine operating process.
- Preparing the machine for production.
- Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Document actions by completing production and quality logs.
- Ensure the working environment is clean and safe.
- Promote and adhere to safe working practices.
- Loading and unloading of heavy goods.
- Any additional duties as required by the business.
- Previous experience in running of machines.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well as part of a team. Friendly, approachable and cooperative.
- Flexibility: Responds effectively to changing circumstances. Adjusts tasks and priorities when required.
- Customer Service: Good understanding of customer deliverables and the need for strong quality.
- Organisation: Ability to plan and organise work.
