A look into the role:
- You will be trusted with a degree of autonomy in delivering your work, empowering you to take initiative and apply your judgement whilst knowing dedicated support is available.
- You will oversee a portfolio of complex clients, handling complex tax returns and projects.
- You will take full ownership of your client portfolio and proactively manage the entire tax return process from start to finish, with support and guidance from your manager.
- You will prepare tax returns and computations for manager review.
- You will engage directly with clients and HMRC, developing relationships built on trust, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- You will take responsibility for driving the tax return process for your clients, proactively managing deadlines, organising and prioritising day to day tasks.
- You will contribute to a culture of collaboration becoming a valued and proactive member of a specialised team.
- This role is key to the operation of our private tax function, contributing to Private Assurance’s wider goals whilst maintaining professional excellence.
Knowing you’re right for us:
- Experience in UK Personal Tax.
- A-Levels or equivalent, good grades in Maths and English GCSE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ATT qualification (or working towards) – study support is available.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Highly organised with an ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations.
