Job Description NEW GROUND WON’T BREAK ITSELF. Dealing with an HMRC tax dispute can feel like David facing Goliath. Having an expert adviser who understands the process and knows HMRC well makes staying compliant easier. Our Tax Dispute Resolution (TDR) service supports clients through disputes and helps find the right way forward. Our services cover a range of disputes, from routine HMRC enquiries to serious cases of fraud. We also assist entities in regularising their historic tax affairs through disclosure services. We support flexible working arrangements, including reduced hours and job shares, to help balance work and life. The Role As a Manager in our TDR team, you will: Collaborate on projects with colleagues across the team. Support senior staff in managing tax disputes, analyzing and quantifying clients’ taxable positions. Draft correspondence to HMRC to progress enquiries and disclosures, aiming to minimise penalties. Conduct technical research using legislation, guidance, and technical resources. Interact with HMRC to resolve disputes for clients. Attend meetings and follow up on actions with support from managers and partners. Expand your internal network and support other teams with HMRC dispute cases. Act with integrity and uphold our organizational values. Candidate Profile Ideal candidates will have: Relevant tax experience and/or UK tax qualifications (CTA / ATT).
