Grant Thornton’s Business Consulting consists of Enterprise Applications, Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People focus areas. The Enterprise Applications (EA) Practice is responsible for advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology in particular, and ERP/HCM applications advisory consultancy more generally.

As an Oracle Cloud Recruitment and Core Lead Consultant within our team practice, you will enjoy working on a wide-reaching range of projects that will help businesses and communities flourish. Here are some things you can expect from this role:

  • You will own the Recruitment solution definition and delivery in collaboration with other senior sales and delivery leaders.
  • You will use your knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud functionality to design specific client solutions and convince customers of the appropriateness of those solutions.
  • You will engage in the detail of recruitment solutions using your experience as a recruitment specialist implementation consultant to lead teams and deliver specialist activity where needed.
  • You will take responsibility for all functional aspects of an Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, including data loading and integration specification.
  • You will own the interaction with senior customer stakeholders to understand their requirements and build relationships in which they buy into your solution vision.
  • You will be part of the Enterprise Applications Practice team, taking a key role in leading recruitment solution teams in the implementation of your recruitment solutions.
  • You will work collaboratively with the EA practice leaders in defining solutions and with Project Managers, Solutions Architects and implementation consultants in the delivery of customer projects.
  • Your responsibilities will be measured in terms of the successful design and delivery of recruitment projects, and in achieving reference ability of those customers.

The EA team is the leading enterprise solutions team within Grant Thornton and your success will be aligned to your ability to build an internal and external brand as an established leader for Oracle Cloud recruitment solutions. Your knowledge will be visible and respected internally within the EA and Business Consulting teams and within Oracle UK’s sales and solution consulting teams.

Joining us as an Oracle Cloud Recruitment Lead Consultant, the minimum criteria you’ll need is relevant Oracle certification in Cloud HCM/recruitment, and multiple years’ experience in similar Consulting/Project roles, covering both successful project delivery and related sales/practice development activity. It would be great if you had some of the following skills:

  • Experience as HCM implementation consultant individual contributor and lead, with strong experience in solution design and hands-on functional and technical delivery.
  • Experience in a mix of implementation and end user roles, with multiple Oracle recruitment implementations and involvement in other modules such as Core HCM, Compensation or payroll.
  • Knowledge of, or background in, the end user aspects of Overall HCM processing and related issues, enabling you to perform advisory consulting related to Core HCM, Absences and other modules.
  • Wider Oracle Cloud HCM experience, with Certification in other Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
  • Experience of building lasting relationships with C Level and Senior Solution stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, with a demonstrable track record of convincing customers regarding your solution vision.
  • Experience in Project Delivery roles encompassing project leadership and oversight alongside your solution responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel depending on customer requirements, mostly in the UK, but throughout Europe & the Middle East if needed.
