A look into the role:
- Provide project leadership and oversight to a portfolio of EA ERP Oracle Cloud implementation projects.
- Lead a team of Project Directors and Managers, responsible for the success of the project portfolio from both a Grant Thornton commercial and quality perspective, and from the perspective of customer satisfaction and customer references.
- Act as advisor both to Grant Thornton teams and directly to customers, using your knowledge of Oracle Cloud projects and similar engagements to mitigate risks and resolve issues.
- Contribute as part of the EA management team; specifically, contribute to EA sales activity both as a member of bid teams demonstrating your delivery and quality expertise, and in a bid and contract review capacity.
- Perform specific customer delivery roles when needed as an established leader for Oracle Cloud solutions.
- Promote strong working relationships and team spirit with both Grant Thornton colleagues and customer project teams.

The minimum criteria you’ll need is a 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent), and multiple years’ experience in similar Consulting/Project delivery roles in which you will have overseen multiple successful complete Oracle Cloud ERP implementations. Your experience prior to undertaking similar roles will likely be as an Oracle Project Director and/or Project Manager, with a track record of successful project/programme delivery in the UK and ideally, internationally.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:
- Experience in the implementation of complex Oracle Cloud applications.
- Experience of building lasting relationships with C Level and Senior Solution stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communications – and a demonstrable track record of being able to use those skills in sales situations and to build and maintain excellent executive relationships.
- Quality Management experience, either in a Professional Service environment, or in the implementation/management of quality standards to support applications software development and implementation.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive innovation for both our team and clients.
While much of our project work is conducted in a hybrid manner, willingness to travel to work on customer sites as needed, mostly in UK, but globally by exception, is important.
