You can choose to work with Grant Thornton as an Independent Consultant either through your own limited company or on inside IR35 terms.

The team provides market-leading risk, control and governance services to the financial services industry, working with clients from the insurance, banking and investment management industries and beyond. Our key offerings are internal audit (outsource and co-source), finance and risk management, compliance and technology.

Joining the Agile Talent Community as an experienced interim Operational Resilience consultant, you will have the freedom to work on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.

Skills we are looking for

  • Experienced Operational Resilience consultant proficient with implementation of Operational resilience regulation by FCA/PRA within the banking or insurance sector
  • Experience in all aspects of Third-Party Risk Management in UK banks and Financial Services
  • Skilled in setting up Operational Resilience programmes for financial services including identification of Important Business Services (IBS), setting impact tolerances, stress testing, third-party resilience, vulnerability management and risk treatment plan and embedding Operational Resilience into wider ERM.
  • Strong understanding of internal audit, operational, cyber and enterprise risk management
  • Experience in Crisis Management, Third-party Risk Management (TPRM) and Incident Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) is beneficial.
  • Capable of processing complex technical information, evaluating risks, and providing concise, practical insights to facilitate well-informed decision-making.
