Overview
In this role you will lead the strategy, roadmap and outcomes for a major digital product domain within Grant Thornton, partnering with Digital Service Line Leads to translate business aims into a prioritized plan. You’ll act as a bridge between business, engineering teams, and GT Labs, driving cross-domain collaboration and delivering measurable value. Responsibilities
- Co-own the roadmap and prioritisation with Digital Service Line Leads
- Translate strategy and OKRs into a prioritised pipeline of bets
- Propose bets for quarterly planning with cost–benefit rationale
- Broker cross-domain opportunities to avoid duplicate solutions
- Manage demand signals across business, users, and data analysis
- Provide domain leadership on industry, market and regulatory trends
- Act as conduit between business and engineering, monitoring delivery and learning from peers
- Contribute to buy-versus-build decisions and RFP processes
- Manage vendor relationships for continuous improvements and align third-party roadmaps
- Collaborate with GT Labs on high-value bets
- Shape the firm-wide Product Management operating model
- Refine user stories and acceptance criteria with Business Analysts
- Represent product in senior stakeholder forums (SLT, cross-functional)
- Influence investment decisions and secure sign-off in quarterly planning
- Mentor Product Managers and Business Analysts to spread product thinking
- Champion data-led performance metrics (OKRs, adoption, usage) across portfolio
- Serve as go-to specialist for industries, markets and craft expertise
- Support and evolve the product management community
Key requirements
- Senior Product Manager/Lead Product Manager experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- End-to-end product domain ownership (strategy, roadmap, business outcomes)
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to define strategy and priorities
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to quantify impact
- Mentoring experience for Product Managers or Business Analysts
- Comfort with data/insights to track product performance
- Comfort with ambiguity and evolving operating model
- Strong communication and stakeholder influence
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and quarterly/roadmap planning
- Interest in AI-enabled delivery approaches
