As a Finance Business Partner, you translate financial data into commercial insight to guide leaders and cost owners.
You’ll drive performance, support decision-making, and push actions for improvement, leveraging automation and offshore support for routine tasks.
You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders to explain drivers and ensure disciplined processes while enabling strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Forecasting and planning: maintain driver-based forecasts and propose actions (pricing, capacity, cost, delivery)
- Performance analysis: interpret results, focus on trends and leading indicators
- Commercial support: assist with fee proposals, contract/margin assessments, and post-deal tracking; identify risks
- Working capital and controls: oversee WIP/debt hygiene via exception reporting and interventions
- Process improvement: identify tasks suitable for automation and define standard packs and data definitions
- Communication: deliver value messages to stakeholders
- Coaching: mentor Assistant FBPs and analysts to grow commercial awareness
- Key requirements
- Finance Business Partnering experience required
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills (Excel/modelling) and ability to use dashboards/BI to generate insight quickly
- Good business partnering behaviours: curiosity, constructive challenge, influencing without authority
- Comfort with AI-enabled ways of working: drafting, summarising, validation of outputs
