Role Overview
Grant Thornton's Financial Services Business Risk Services (FS BRS) team provides market‑leading risk, control and governance services to clients in the insurance, banking, investment management and other financial services sectors. As an Interim Claims Consultant you will work on short‑to‑medium‑term projects that deepen your claims expertise and give you a fresh perspective on familiar challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Support or deliver internal audits of the end‑to‑end claims process, demonstrating subject‑matter expertise.
- Conduct claims, coverholder or TPA audits and contribute insights to client engagements.
- Collaborate with team members to design and execute audit plans, documenting findings and recommendations.
- Travel to London occasionally as required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hands‑on experience in claims or delegated claims, acting as a subject‑matter expert.
- Deep knowledge of the end‑to‑end claims process.
- Experience in internal audit, claims auditing, coverholder audits or TPA audits.
- Experience across the insurance sector: General Insurance, Life Insurance, Pensions, Broking or Lloyd's market.
- Strong analytical thinking, keen eye for detail and clear, professional communication.
