As an Associate Director in our Indirect Tax team, you will:

  • Manage the scope, delivery, and billing of client projects, providing high-quality technical advice to a diverse client base.
  • Guide junior staff in research and work production, supporting Directors and Partners.
  • Provide accurate advice on Indirect Tax matters, grounded in legislation, case law, and technical analysis.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly, tailoring your style to different stakeholders.
  • Create technical work that requires minimal review, effectively conveying key points to clients and stakeholders.
  • Review team members' work for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with the firm’s risk management processes throughout project lifecycles.
  • Manage financial aspects like billing, gross margin, utilization, and WIP.

To join as an Indirect Tax Associate Director, you should have experience in VAT/Indirect Taxes, possibly from advisory or in-house roles, and hold relevant qualifications like CTA or ATT. Additional desirable skills include:

  • Managing a large and varied portfolio of indirect/VAT clients.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
