Grant Thornton’s Business Consulting group consists of Enterprise Applications (EA), Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People focus areas. The Enterprise Applications (EA) Practice is responsible for advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology in particular, and ERP/HCM applications advisory consultancy more generally.
The EA team is the leading enterprise solutions team within Grant Thornton and your success will be aligned to your ability to build an internal and external brand as an established leader for Oracle Cloud ERP solutions. Your knowledge will be visible and respected internally within the EA and Business Consulting teams and within Oracle UK’s sales and solution consulting teams.

A look into the role
As an Enterprise Applications Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Consultant within our Business Consulting practice, you will:
- Contribute to the finance solution definition and delivery on projects (in collaboration with other senior sales and delivery leaders).
- Use your knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud functionality to design specific client solutions, and to convince customers of the appropriateness of those solutions.
- Engage in the detail of Finance Solutions using your experience as an implementation consultant to deliver specialist activity when needed, taking responsibility for at least one full process area (e.g. Record to Report).
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an Enterprise Applications Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Consultant, the minimum criteria you’ll need is an honours degree (or equivalent), relevant Oracle certification in Cloud Finance and at least 2 years’ experience in similar consulting/project roles, covering both successful project delivery and related sales/practice development activity.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box; we’ll help you develop along the way:
- Wide Oracle Cloud ERP experience, with Certification and project implementation experience in your specialist areas.
- Experience of building lasting relationships with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communications – and a demonstrable track record of being able to use those skills to convince customers regarding your solution.
- While much of our project work is conducted in a hybrid manner, willingness to travel to work on customer sites as needed, mostly in the UK, but through Europe & the Middle East by exception, is important.
