Overview

As Governance Analyst in Information Systems, you own the governance of the Service Management System and Information Security Management System, ensuring audit-readiness and continuous improvement. You collaborate across IT and the wider firm to manage risk, service continuity, and documentation while leveraging AI tools to streamline governance tasks. You help keep two knowledge repositories accurate and accessible for self-help and technical information. This role offers meaningful impact through formal controls, process improvement, and cross-functional partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Own and run the risk management cycle for the Service Management System and ISMS, maintaining the risk register and leading reviews
  • Plan and run service continuity testing and capture lessons for action
  • Drive improvement actions from initiation to closure and keep the improvement register up to date
  • Lead internal audit activity for the Service Management System, including scheduling and tracking findings
  • Coordinate responses to external audits (ISO 20000 surveillance cycle)
  • Act as custodian of two repositories (Systems Solutions and Service Information), maintaining structure and quality standards
  • Work with AI tooling (e.g., Claude) to automate governance tasks like drafting updates and flagging content gaps
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels and foster a culture of evidence, improvement, and good governance
