The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team provides a broad range of advisory services to clients, primarily in a deals environment, including financial due diligence (FDD), sale and purchase agreement advisory (SPA) and data analytics.

As a member of the FDD team you will be providing financial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You may also work on public company transactions, primarily on the AIM Market operated by the London Stock Exchange plc.

An Assistant Manager is involved with all aspects of FDD engagements, including information gathering and client discussions, target business meetings, liaising with the internal team, preparing the analysis and report for the client deliverable and client take on procedures. Specifically, you will:

  • Be key to the preparation of the analysis and findings for the client deliverable, supporting the preparation of a quality document to facilitate the client’s decision making.
  • Work with the wider team on technical aspects of the transaction.
  • Interpret and analyse complex information, identifying business issues and applying technical knowledge appropriately.
  • Support with the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to the client and discuss the implications and action points.
  • Take a proactive interest in your own performance as well as the performance of the wider team.
  • Consult effectively in relation to risk management, supporting a risk management culture within the team.
  • Support the team’s business development efforts and opportunities.

Joining us as a Transaction Advisory Services Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA). It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
