As our Social Media Manager you’ll join a team of brand, content and digital experts that support the growth of the business. Bringing your skills and experience within the continuously shifting social media landscape, you’ll provide expert advice on how we can enhance the reputation of Grant Thornton. Key to this role is working with our marketing teams to ensure they make the most of social media within their plans and campaigns. Weaving through all of your advice will be a focus on our evolving digital strategy and channels ensuring a joined-up audience experience.

A look into the role:
- Own the delivery of our social media strategy, working with our Content Lead to identify trends and opportunities for continuous evolution of approaches, tactics and channel strategy.
- Support our marketing teams with social media strategy and execution across their campaigns – bringing fresh ideas and solutions that inspire wider thinking and set new standards.
- Work across our wider marketing, business development and communications to guide and advise on best practice use of social media.
- Curate the organic growth of the Grant Thornton brand across existing and future social media channels.
- Lead on the performance of our social media advocacy platform.
- Facilitate Social Media training sessions to improve the Grant Thornton brand across individual social media platforms.
- Manage the posting schedule and community engagement across all our channels with the support of a digital marketing executive.
- Advise, monitor, and execute on a variety of paid social campaigns, adwords and PPC.
- Use your analytical skills to regularly review, report and advise on improvements to our social media strategy and approaches.
- Monitor, listen and respond to trends, and discussions across social channels and report this back into the business to feed into our long-term planning process.
- People manage a digital marketing executive that works in our brand, content and digital teams.
- Be passionate about championing social media within the business by presenting regular updates on our performance and approach to key stakeholders.
Knowing you’re right for us:
The minimum criteria you’ll need is substantial experience in B2B social media management and demonstrable stakeholder management experience, ideally in professional services. It would be great if you had some of the following skills but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
- Experience in B2B social media marketing, preferably in a professional services environment or agency.
- In-depth knowledge of all leading social media sites, including their algorithms.
- Strong working knowledge of paid social campaigns, PPC and adwords.
- Strong communication and influencing skills - the ability to communicate effectively to senior partners.
- Experience with using a social media management tool such as Oktopost, Hubspot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch x Crimson Hexagon and Sprinklr.
- People management experience either directly or indirectly.
