As a Senior Recruitment Adviser within our team, you will:
- Create and deliver the recruitment strategy for each new vacancy within your designated business area, applying a direct sourcing mindset.
- Proactively create, build, and maintain talent communities and candidate networks.
- Take a full and comprehensive brief for each vacancy and gain a deep understanding of the relevant business area and team for which the hiring manager is recruiting.
- Coach hiring managers to be brand advocates and support them in developing excellent interview and selection processes.
- Work with hiring managers and colleagues within their business area to develop and maintain a large network of candidate referrals for potential future hires.
- Ensure all vacancies are advertised in line with brand guidelines and manage a variety of recruitment channels, including social media, to source best talent in the market.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint, ensuring timely, transparent and human‑centred communication that reflects our employer brand and leaves every candidate, successful or not, with a positive impression of Grant Thornton.
Joining us as a Senior Recruitment Adviser, the minimum criteria you’ll need:
- Exposure and understanding of professional services/consulting organisations.
- Experience of delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience and proven experience in end‑to‑end recruitment, with a strong focus on direct sourcing across multiple channels (LinkedIn recruiter, talent pools and market mapping).

- Experience of dealing with multiple vacancies across Advisory service lines.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, with a track record of influencing, advising and managing expectations at pace.
- Consistent delivery of exceptional candidate experience, ensuring seamless, transparent and engaging process from initial outreach to onboarding.
- Demonstrates positive energy and genuine passion for recruitment, with a continuous improvement mindset, proactively seeking better ways of working, embracing change, and consistently raising the bar on quality, efficiency and candidate experience.
- Evidence of building, nurturing and activating talent communities, creating an always‑on pipeline of engaged candidates through proactive relationship management, market insight and consistent value‑adding engagement.
