Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality analysis for pitches, proposals and the generation of new work.
- Identify and act on commercial opportunities, overseeing thought leadership and maintaining sector knowledge management.
- Support the Turnaround and Restructuring, Pensions and Debt & Capital Advisory teams to deliver research insights that help win new business.
- Assist senior fee-earners to develop a proactive, sector-driven go-to-market strategy.
- Use research tools, AI and automation to accelerate delivery, improve quality and depth of research.
- Influence Partners, Directors and peers to shape the team’s strategy and contribute to its growth.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience in restructuring, investment banking, credit analysis or a specialist data provider (e.g., Debtwire, Octus).
- Exceptional analytical skills interpreting financial data.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Familiarity with debt market research databases such as Octus, Debtwire or 9Fin and financial research tools like CapIQ, Bureau Van Dijk or Mergermarket.
- Experience using AI and automation tools.
- Tenacity, resilience and the ability to drive projects to completion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
