A look into the role:

  • As an Apprentice/Trainee Supervisor within our Audit team, you will be responsible for providing both support and challenge to Associates to enable them to be their best.
  • This includes having regular conversations with Associates to understand workload, pressures, wellbeing and feedback.
  • Proactively managing issues that arise including exam fails, underperformance, absence and wellbeing concerns and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Handling numerous administrative tasks such as monitoring performance feedback and preparing data for talent meetings.
  • Attending progress reviews with the Apprenticeship training provider.
  • Leading the local orientation for Associates, providing a first-class introduction to our firm.
  • Working in close partnership with Associate Career Coaches and the other Apprentice/Trainee Supervisors.
  • Valuing diversity through everyday inclusion.

You will work collaboratively with a variety of internal teams including Central Talent and Capacity Team (CTCT), Early Careers, People Advisory, Business School and Audit Training Leads. You’ll also be an active member of both the local management team and people manager community. There will be opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop skills, including commercial awareness and contributing to people projects.
