As a Senior Recruitment Adviser within our team, you will:

• Create and deliver the recruitment strategy for each new vacancy within your designated business area, applying a direct sourcing mindset. You will proactively create, build, and maintain talent communities and candidate networks.
• Take a full and comprehensive brief for each vacancy and gain a deep understanding of the relevant business area and team.
• Coach hiring managers to be brand advocates and support them in developing excellent interview and selection processes.
• Work with hiring managers and colleagues to develop and maintain a large network of candidate referrals for potential future hires.
• Ensure all vacancies are advertised in line with brand guidelines and manage a variety of recruitment channels, including social media, to source best talent in the market.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every touchpoint, ensuring timely, transparent and human‑centred communication that reflects our employer brand and leaves every candidate, successful or not, with a positive impression of Grant Thornton.

Minimum criteria

• Experience dealing with multiple vacancies across Advisory service lines.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing, advising, and managing expectations at pace.
• Consistent delivery of exceptional candidate experience, ensuring a seamless, transparent, and engaging process from initial outreach to onboarding.
• Positive energy and genuine passion for recruitment, with a continuous improvement mindset, proactively seeking better ways of working.
• Evidence of building, nurturing, and activating talent communities, creating an always‑on pipeline of engaged candidates through proactive relationship management, local market insight and consistent value‑adding engagement.
