Grant Thornton’s Business Consulting group consists of Enterprise Applications, Technology, Finance, Operations, Deals and People focus areas. The Enterprise Applications (EA) Practice is responsible for advisory and project implementation services related to Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology in particular, and ERP/HCM applications advisory consultancy more generally.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Procurement solution definition and delivery within a delivery project, collaborating with other senior sales and delivery leaders, using Oracle Procurement Cloud functionality to design client solutions, and to convince customers of the appropriateness of those solutions.
  • Engage in the detail of Procurement solutions using your experience as a Procurement specialist implementation consultant to lead teams and deliver specialist activity where needed.
  • Take responsibility for all functional aspects of an Oracle Cloud Procurement implementation, and engage in technical discussions to support project technical teams where needed.
  • Own the interaction with senior customer stakeholders, to understand their requirements and build relationships in which they buy into your solution vision.
  • Be part of the Enterprise Applications Practice team, taking a key role in ERP solution teams (including both on shore and off shore consultants) in the implementation of your ERP and particularly Procurement solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with the EA practice leaders in defining solutions and with Project Managers, Solutions Architects and implementation consultants in the delivery of customer projects.
  • The EA team is the leading enterprise solutions team within Grant Thornton and your success will be aligned to your ability to build an internal and external brand as an established leader for Oracle Cloud Procurement solutions.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Oracle certification in Cloud Procurement, and multiple years’ experience in similar Consulting/Project roles, covering both successful project delivery and related sales/practice development activity.
  • Your experience will be as an Oracle Procurement Cloud implementation lead consultant, with strong experience in both solution design and hands-on functional delivery.
  • Wider Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM experience, with Certification and project implementation experience in multiple Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM modules.
  • Experience of building lasting relationships with C Level and Senior Solution stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications – and a demonstrable track record of convincing customers regarding your solution vision as part of sales and delivery processes.
  • Experience in Project Delivery roles encompassing project leadership and oversight alongside your individual contributor responsibilities.
  • Willingness to travel to work on customer sites as needed, mostly in UK, but globally by exception.
