As an Oracle Fusion EPM Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC/FCCS) Consultant, you’ll work within our EA practice to support clients in transforming their consolidation, close, and reporting processes. You’ll help them streamline group reporting, enhance control, and modernise consolidation systems using Oracle’s market‑leading EPM capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supporting or leading the design and delivery of FCC/FCCS solutions aligned with client financial consolidation and statutory reporting needs.
- Running requirement‑gathering workshops focusing on group reporting structures, intercompany processes, close cycles, and ownership calculations.
- Designing consolidation models, metadata structures, journals, rules, calculations, dashboards, reporting packs, and approval workflow.
- Engaging hands‑on in FCCS configuration, including data integration, consolidation rules, close manager, and task‑driven processes.
- Working collaboratively with Oracle ERP and EPM colleagues to ensure seamless integration across the financial ecosystem.
- Supporting testing cycles, transition planning, cutover, training, and hyper‑care to ensure smooth deployment.
- Contributing to EA growth by supporting proposals, thought leadership, and market messaging.
Qualifications
- A 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent).
- Oracle EPM certification (FCC/FCCS or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience of FCC/FCCS or consolidation system implementation.
- Experience of finance consolidation, intercompany elimination, statutory reporting, or group control processes.
Preferred skills
- Experience with Data Management, integration tools, or ERP/EPM connectivity.
- Exposure to financial accounting, IFRS/UK GAAP concepts, or auditing.
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Flexibility to travel to client sites when required.
