As a Manager – Forensic Accounting & Royalties, you will provide forensic analysis and data‑driven insights to clients across three core areas: film & TV studios, intellectual property owners, and multinational pharmaceutical & tech companies. You will work across global territories, assess contractual risks, and ensure clients receive all due payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and deliver third‑party reviews, managing a diverse portfolio.
  • Apply a problem‑solving mindset to solve complex technical issues and develop tailored review strategies, including contract risk assessments.
  • Develop and lead your team to high standards, supporting personal development.
  • Build strong relationships with your team, clients, and third parties under review.
  • Take on wider department duties such as commercial oversight, operational excellence, pitching support, and fostering continual development.
  • Consistently push yourself and the business further, supported at every stage.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA).
  • Experience developing work plans and testing approaches for complex challenges, ideally in forensic or commercial contract compliance.
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness to interpret complex contractual terms and associated risks.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property and licensing industry, including royalty structures and licensing agreements.
  • Track record of challenging third‑party evidence and demonstrating professional scepticism.
  • Project management experience with verbal and written status updates for clients and third parties.
  • Advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel and tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, Power‑BI, or Tableau; familiarity with Generative AI is a plus.
  • Ability to prepare concise reports and present findings to C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Experience in engagement economics and delivering commercial excellence.
  • Client‑relationship development and maintenance.
  • Multilingual fluency enabling full operation in a foreign language.
