Finance Assistant – Entry level role – Milton Keynes

The Finance Business Partner team supports the full breadth of the firm across the UK. We play an essential role in financial reporting and KPI tracking, helping the firm achieve its objectives.
We are looking for someone to join our team to help us grow. You will be part of a new cohort of starters, working alongside peers as you develop your role. Support will be available to help you study towards a professional finance qualification, making this a great opportunity to establish a career in finance.
A look into the role
As a Finance Assistant, you will:
- Embed good discipline around core processes such as timesheets, expenses, and portfolio management
- Provide system support and training on these processes
- Produce regular reports including KPIs and accounts
- Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs
- Maintain the integrity of financial data with attention to detail
- Assist in key financial decisions
- Manage and post regular journals
You will also support core finance processes, including:
- Data management and housekeeping
- Ad hoc reporting and data requests
- Monthly and annual accounts, including WIP valuation
- Rolling forecasting, business planning, and annual budgeting

- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
It’s a plus if you have some of the following skills, but don’t worry if not; we’ll help you develop:

- Understanding of income recognition principles
