We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Quality Audit team. The role focuses on maintaining audit quality, conducting hot reviews, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality audits and constructively challenge audit procedures and documentation.
- Work closely with audit partners, engagement teams, and quality review partners to perform “hot reviews” of audits, applying technical and practical skills while building strong relationships.
- Coach audit teams to implement identified improvements in audit quality and support the audit standards team.
- Identify issues and matters that may require firm‑wide action and lead ad‑hoc projects related to improving audit quality.
- Support the firm during FRC inspections and provide assistance to the legal team.
Minimum Criteria
- Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CA or ACCA).
- Experience in listed audits, audit quality control and/or audit inspection.
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to evaluate large volumes of information and identify critical elements to ensure high quality standards.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; willingness to adopt emerging technologies, including AI.
- Highly motivated and passionate about audit quality with a drive to seek new ways to drive improvement.
- Willingness to work flexibly both as part of a close‑knit team and as a self‑directed individual.

- Excellent practical and technical auditing experience, particularly on complex audits.
- Experience performing audit quality reviews (pre‑or post‑audit opinion).
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to quickly establish credibility and influence at senior levels within the firm.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with confidence to challenge judgements made by senior partners and engagement teams.
- Ability and desire to work with a client base across a broad range of sectors.
