We are seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join our Quality Audit team. The role focuses on maintaining audit quality, conducting hot reviews, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality audits and constructively challenge audit procedures and documentation.
  • Work closely with audit partners, engagement teams, and quality review partners to perform “hot reviews” of audits, applying technical and practical skills while building strong relationships.
  • Coach audit teams to implement identified improvements in audit quality and support the audit standards team.
  • Identify issues and matters that may require firm‑wide action and lead ad‑hoc projects related to improving audit quality.
  • Support the firm during FRC inspections and provide assistance to the legal team.

Minimum Criteria

  • Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CA or ACCA).
  • Experience in listed audits, audit quality control and/or audit inspection.
  • In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to evaluate large volumes of information and identify critical elements to ensure high quality standards.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; willingness to adopt emerging technologies, including AI.
  • Highly motivated and passionate about audit quality with a drive to seek new ways to drive improvement.
  • Willingness to work flexibly both as part of a close‑knit team and as a self‑directed individual.
