Grant Thornton’s Financial Services Business Risk Services (FS BRS) team provides market-leading risk, control and governance services to the financial services industry, working with clients from the insurance, banking and investment management industries and beyond. Our key offerings are internal audit (outsource and co-source), finance and risk management, compliance and technology.
As a Market Risk Internal Auditor, you will have the freedom to work on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time within FS BRS and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.
Skills we are looking for:
- Deep understanding of traded markets, market risk, CVA, risk factor sensitivities, VaR models, stress testing methodologies, and market risk systems/data.
- Strong experience performing full cycle internal audits within Financial Services sector.
- Ability to independently assess control effectiveness, evaluate risk mitigation, interpret quantitative risk metrics, and form objective, well-supported conclusions.
- Clear, structured writing skills to document testing, evidence, results, and conclusions aligned with Corporate Audit standards.
