We are looking for an exceptional Director to join our Quality Audit Team to drive our relentless focus on quality and integrity, helping businesses, communities, and our people to flourish.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver quality audits, constructively challenging audit procedures and documentation.
- Work closely with audit partners, teams, and engagement quality review partners to perform “hot reviews” of audits, applying excellent technical and practical skills.
- Deliver challenging messages in a positive and confident manner, resolving difficult situations.
- Coach partners and teams to implement identified improvements in audit quality.
- Identify issues requiring firm‑wide action and support ad‑hoc projects to improve audit quality.
- As the team grows, deliver training alongside the audit standards team and support the firm during FRC inspections and legal matters.
Minimum Criteria
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CA or ACCA).
- Experience in listed audits, audit quality control and/or audit inspection.
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
- Excellent insight and analytical skills to evaluate large amounts of information and identify what is important for high‑quality standards.
- Strong digital and IT capability, including use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and comfort leveraging AI‑enabled tools and platforms.
- Highly motivated and passionate about audit quality with a desire to drive improvement.
- Willingness to work flexibly as part of a close‑knitted team and as a self‑directed individual.

- Experience performing audit quality reviews (pre‑or post‑audit opinion).
