What you\’ll do
- Research – Ambitious, long-term research projects, creating novel mathematics to underpin future audits.
- Consultations – Collaborate with software developers to ensure mathematical best practices are integrated across apps.
- Tools – Develop mathematical solutions and software libraries for use by the software team; learn by doing with support.
- Own the Tools strand by leading understanding of developer needs and designing smart mathematical solutions.
- Learn and apply Python to build well-documented, self-contained software libraries.
- Grow your mathematical expertise by exploring new fields and staying current with cutting-edge research.
- Collaborate across the lab with the lead researcher on Research and Consultations strands.
- Help shape the lab’s culture, practices, and direction in its early stages.
- Make a real impact using mathematics to enhance audit quality and support auditors.
