Qualifications
- Fully qualified member of a professional accounting body such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience working within industry, in a company with an annual turnover of a minimum of £50m+, ideally within a listed FTSE business and/or a top 20 practice within financial/statutory accounting capacity.
- Experience of half‑ and full‑year‑end accounts preparation, audit liaison and preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Group accounts consolidation and inter‑company accounting.
- Financial reporting under IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP or international GAAP.
- Preparation of year‑end statutory accounts and audits.
Responsibilities
- You will support CFOs through interim finance roles within Grant Thornton’s CFO Solutions, providing strategic, transformational and execution support across finance consultancy, placements, business process outsourcing and technical accounting advice.
- Key responsibilities will include preparing and consolidating group accounts, managing year‑end statutory accounts and audits, delivering monthly management accounts, handling inter‑company transactions and reporting under IFRS/UK/US GAAP.
- You will work on short‑ to medium‑term projects and have the flexibility to operate independently or within the firm’s Agile Talent Community, choosing your preferred contract arrangement.
