Grant Thornton’s Agile Talent Community is a network of contract professionals, giving you the opportunity to work with our clients alongside Grant Thornton teams on a project-by-project basis whilst being supported by our dedicated Agile Talent team. You can choose to work with Grant Thornton as an Independent Consultant either through your own limited company or on inside IR35 terms.
Joining us in Operations Consulting
The Operations Consulting practice is a specialist business unit within the Business Consulting service line, helping businesses to retain their competitive advantage, whether that\’s through acquisition, innovation, or running lean and cost-effective operations.
Joining the Agile Talent Community as an interim Cost and Margin Improvement Consultant, you will have the freedom to work on projects that you choose, whether full or part-time, and support our clients and internal teams on short to medium-term assignments.
Skills we are looking for
- Proven Experience of delivering cost reduction/margin improvement projects coupled with strong project management skills is essential.
- Experience in the Manufacturing or Consumer sectors with consulting background is highly preferred.
- Experience providing commercial and strategic thinking to propose solutions to clients is highly preferred.
- Good analytical skills to interpret financial and non-financial data to identify what is driving the performance of a business.
- Financial modelling and data analysis experience is desired.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders in a written and verbal format.
- Exposure to commercial discussions with customers or suppliers in various sectors.
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to client sites 2 or 3 days per week and work hybrid as per business needs.
