Responsibilities
- Lead engagements in accordance with the firm's methodologies, professional standards, and local legal and regulatory requirements, delivering exceptional audit services to Fintech and payments clients.

- Provide performance management and coaching to junior colleagues during the performance year, identifying and addressing staff needs, including learning and development.
- Keep current with market trends to bring value to client engagements and develop innovative solutions.
- Act as a high‑profile contact and point of escalation for complex issues, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that impact entire industries.
- Plan, lead and deliver major external audit and assurance engagements in a senior managerial capacity, including project and people management.
- Adapt and communicate effectively in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified as a chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, ICAS, ICAEW or international equivalent).
- Experience planning, leading and delivering multiple major external audit and assurance engagements in a senior managerial capacity, focused on the financial services sector.
- Excellent technical expertise with proven industry knowledge and sector experience in Fintech and payments services.
- Experience managing assurance engagements, such as client assets and safeguarding audits, is helpful.
- Previous professional experience at Manager level or equivalent, knowledge of current market issues in the UK, and experience applying UK GAAP and IFRS.
