As an Assistant Manager in the Private Capital Corporate Tax team, you will manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships, primarily owner‑managed businesses, private‑equity backed entities and large groups, while delivering comprehensive corporation tax compliance and advisory services across the central belt.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee annual corporation tax work and specialist claims for a diversified client portfolio.
- Coordinate and supervise junior team members’ work, ensuring quality and compliance with firm standards.
- Lead tax advisory projects, including project financing and transaction advisory, in collaboration with cross‑border and audit teams.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations, communication, and business development opportunities.
- Organise the delivery of tax work, solving day‑to‑day client issues and maintaining commercial awareness of client requirements.
- Coach and develop junior staff, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications
- Qualified ACA, ATT, or CTA and current experience in a corporate tax role.
