Our Private Capital Corporate Tax team supports privately owned and private‑equity backed businesses, helping them navigate complex tax compliance and advisory projects. As a Manager you will work with a varied client base from owner‑managed to private equity‑backed businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Advise a diverse range of clients on tax compliance and advisory projects.
  • Participate in client meetings, answering queries confidently and concisely.
  • Deliver high‑quality tax advice, meeting expectations and deadlines.
  • Lead client work, coordinating with wider Tax teams to ensure appropriate skill utilisation.
  • Develop junior team members, supporting their career aspirations.
  • Provide innovative and proactive solutions to client tax issues, cross‑selling additional services across the GT network.
  • Lead pitch and proposal development, actively growing the business through market presence and demonstrating capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with post‑qualification experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and working knowledge of international concepts.
  • Experience reviewing work and supervising people in a tax environment.
  • Background working in a professional services environment.
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of tax clients.
  • Demonstrable business‑development experience.
  • Eagerness to develop deep knowledge of the firm’s services and capabilities.
