The GTM Manager – Private Equity shapes and delivers the GTM plan for the Private Equity business. The role is the day-to-day link between Private Equity and the wider Commercial Function, bringing agreed segment strategy and local campaigns to life, and keeping pipeline and Dynamics data accurate and current.
As a GTM Manager – Private Equity within our CAS practice, you’ll be responsible for:
- Strategy into action: Shape and deliver the GTM plan for Private Equity, turning agreed strategy into clear, day-to-day actions. Keep activity on track, flagging slippage or emerging priorities to the GTM Lead – Private Equity. Support the GTM Lead – Private Equity in shaping segment strategy and messaging for the Private Equity market.
- Working with the firm: Act as the day-to-day link between Private Equity and the Commercial Function, keeping local activity connected to the firmwide agenda. Flag priorities, risks and opportunities to the GTM Lead – Private Equity and wider Private Equity leadership. Build strong working relationships with Commercial Growth Services specialists to keep Private Equity activity resourced and on track. Build strong relationships across international firms, supporting and driving global connection and collaboration. Shape and deliver local campaign activity for Private Equity, building and activating campaigns with Commercial Growth Services. Support Private Equity subject matter experts to build a point of view and raise their profile with key buyers. Feed Private Equity expertise into firmwide campaign activity where relevant.
- Pipeline and credentials: Maintain accurate, timely Dynamics data for Private Equity, flagging data quality issues to leadership. Work with Commercial Growth Services to keep Private Equity testimonials, case studies and collateral current. Support pipeline discipline by tracking opportunities and following up on data gaps.
- AI adoption and innovation: Adopt AI tools such as Claude and GT Augment day-to-day, using them to sharpen campaign activity, pipeline management and reporting. Identify practical use cases within Private Equity GTM and share them with the GTM Lead – Private Equity and peers across the GTM - Strategic Growth Team. Follow firm standards for responsible AI use, flagging any risk or governance questions to the GTM Lead – Private Equity.
Key performance indicators:
- Delivery of the Private Equity GTM plan against agreed actions and timelines.
- Campaign activation and delivery for Private Equity, on time and to quality.
- Dynamics/CRM data quality and completeness for Private Equity.
- Pipeline accuracy and discipline, including timely follow-up on data gaps.
- Practical adoption of AI tools to improve campaign and pipeline efficiency.
Knowing you’re right for us: Joining us as a GTM Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is proven commercial experience within business development, marketing or a commercial function, ideally gained in professional services or financial services environment, alongside strong stakeholder management, communication skills and a data-driven approach to pipeline management and decision-making.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:
- Experience using CRM systems (ideally Dynamics) to manage opportunities, maintain pipeline accuracy and support decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively with partners, directors and senior stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organisation.
- A proven track record of delivering strategic plans and commercial initiatives, ensuring activity remains on track and objectives are achieved.
- Strong commercial awareness and curiosity, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and leverage data and insights to inform recommendations.
- Knowledge of the Private Equity market and its commercial dynamics would be advantageous.
