We are seeking to recruit a receptionist to join the team at Grant Thornton in our Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and professional receptionist to become part of a busy team within a professional and fast‑paced environment. The primary purpose of the role is to provide an efficient, welcoming and courteous reception service to all clients, visitors and staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous reception experience is essential
  • Ability to confidently communicate with clients at all levels
  • Computer literate, ICDL or equivalent

Responsibilities:

  • Managing day to day presentation of reception and general meeting room areas
  • Meeting and greeting clients in a courteous, professional and friendly manner
  • Managing meeting rooms / desk bookings
  • Arranging catering requirements for meetings / office events
  • Provide a professional and personable service to all clients
  • Reserving meeting rooms and requesting catering arrangements
  • Maintaining client kitchen cleanliness and stock levels
  • Operating the switchboard and directing calls in a positive and professional manner
  • Managing and ordering stationery and other essential office stock
  • On‑site H&S responsibilities – cover for facilities
  • Using various software systems to report any maintenance issues
  • Ensuring site procedures are documented and kept up to date
  • Working with head office to implement initiatives within office relating to group wide programs
  • Ad hoc facilities and reception administrative tasks
  • Any other reasonable request
