Grant Store Ltd is looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our expanding renewables division. This is a senior technical role, not just a standard installation position. We’re looking for someone with strong fault-finding ability, technical knowledge, and leadership experience who can help maintain high standards across our Solar PV and Battery Storage projects. You’ll work closely with engineers, installers, and subcontractors to support complex installations, ensure quality workmanship, and provide technical expertise across a growing portfolio of renewable energy systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Fault finding and diagnostics on Solar PV and Battery Storage systems
- Inspection, testing, and certification of installations
- Reviewing and signing off works
- Providing technical support and guidance to installation teams
- Supporting commissioning and optimisation of systems
- Carrying out on-site electrical assessments where required
You will play a key role in maintaining quality across our Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Solar PV
- Strong knowledge of battery storage systems
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with inspection, testing, and certification
- Strong understanding of BS 7671 (18th Edition)
- Ability to review and interpret technical system designs
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience with Fox ESS
- Experience with Sigenergy
- Experience with Growatt
- Experience with EcoFlow
- Experience with Givenergy
