Grant & Stone Electrical is looking for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our busy Aylesbury branch. This is a varied and hands-on role that combines warehouse operations with customer deliveries, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced working environment where no two days are the same. As part of our team, you'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive the products they need, when they need them, while helping maintain a safe, organised and efficient warehouse operation.
The Role
- Deliver electrical products safely and on time to customer sites and premises
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately
- Assist with goods-in, stock control and stock replenishment
- Cut and prepare cable orders as required
- Support general warehouse housekeeping and organisation
- Carry out vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at every opportunity
What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Previous delivery driving, warehouse or merchant experience desirable
- Forklift experience beneficial (training can be provided)
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, organised and customer-focused approach
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:15
Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 – 12:00
