Assembly Operator/Solderer

FINTEC recruit is recruiting for an Assembly Operator / Solderer for a manufacturing business based south of Edinburgh. This is a permanent role, salary circa £25,000. Working four days a week (Monday to Thursday) from 7 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. with every Friday off and enjoy long weekends!

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate at the highest quality as an Electronic Assembly Operator.
2. Wire panels and connectors using precise soldering and crimp joints.
3. Form wire looms and cables with finesse.
4. Solder surface mount and conventional components onto PCBs.

Skills and Experience for the Assembly Operator / Soldering:

1. Previous experience in electronics assembly is essential.
2. Proficient in hands-on soldering and assembly work, from manufacturing to product testing and despatch.
3. Capability to interpret and work from engineering drawings for both production and prototype PCBs.
