Build and ship simple, elegant solutions to real user problems

Hey! We\’re team Granola

We\’re a deeply product-led company building one of the few breakout AI-native tools that people genuinely love using. Until now, our cofounder and CEO Chris has owned product, but as we scale, we\’re looking for our first Product Manager to help take things to the next level.

Granola isn\’t just about meeting notes. We have an ambitious vision for how people collaborate with AI to think and work better, and we need someone to help turn that vision into reality.

You\’ll work closely with our cofounders, Chris and Sam, to shape new functionality, define how users interact with AI, and obsess over what great feels like. You\’ll spend time deep in discovery, in the product, and yes, in the prompts and LLMs too.

This role is perfect for someone with strong product fundamentals, deep user empathy and who has the product always on their mind. You want to build something excellent.

In this role, you will…

  • Take product ideas from 0→1, turning rough concepts into live features that solve real problems
  • Execute on the strategy laid out by our founding team, with a strong bias towards speed and clarity
  • Lead your own product initiatives from discovery through MVP and iteration
  • Talk to users constantly. You\’re curious, direct, and keen to understand what actually matters
  • Work closely with engineering and design to ship fast, thoughtful, high-quality work
  • Make product calls: what to build, what to leave out, and when to ship
  • Write copy, tweak flows, test edge cases, whatever it takes to make the experience great
  • Build trust by showing good judgement and sweating the right details, and earn the autonomy that comes with it

Your background will look something like:

  • Product management craft: You have strong fundamentals and have taken features from idea to launch, more than once. You know how to scope, prioritise, validate, and ship.
  • Product sensibility: You have an innate curiosity about products, notice details others miss, and can articulate why certain experiences work (or don\’t). You reverse-engineer solutions and recognise patterns across different products.
  • Delivery in fast-moving environments: Maybe you\’ve worked in startups, maybe in Big Tech, maybe both. We\’re open. What matters is that you know how to move quickly, operate without a fully defined roadmap, and bring structure when it\’s needed.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You work with engineers and designers as equals, not dependencies. You know when to bring others into the process, and when to make a call and move.

As a person, you are:

  • Curious and product-minded: You notice what others miss, ask \”why\” instinctively, and enjoy figuring out how things work.
  • Low ego and adaptable: You have strong opinions, loosely held; confident in your thinking but open to changing your mind.
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator: You listen well, speak with clarity, and build trust by following through.
  • Pragmatic and pace oriented: You care about quality, but you\’ll cut scope to move faster and learn sooner.
  • Energised by ownership: Once trusted with a piece of the product, you want to take it, run with it, and make it great.

About the opportunity

We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart\’s demo in 1968, and we want to assemble the best crew to build this future together, here in London. Our compensation philosophy is to pay slightly above market on salary and above market on equity.

We do our best work in person, and so our team spends time together five days per week in our new, bright, and spacious office at Old Street. We are happy to offer relocation assistance to candidates who\’ll be moving to London to join us.

Lastly, we think amazing talent comes from all kinds of life journeys and experiences. If what is written above speaks to you, whether you look like a fit on paper or not, please reach out.

We\’ll review your application and get back to you within a week
