They are seeking a Technical Sales Manager Industrial Coatings – CASE . This is a home-based position within the UK, with the geographical territory covering the UK and Ireland. It is a full-time, permanent role reporting to the Business Manager.
Job Purpose
- Create and maintain a profitable and sustainable Business Unit, achieving sales and margin targets annually.
- Develop long-term relationships with Key Customers and create compelling sales propositions.
- Build and nurture Supplier relationships to ensure long-term positive contributions.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Sales
- Develop Key Accounts.
- Execute Sales & Marketing activities effectively.
- Develop key markets: Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, Resins.
Supplier Management
- Communicate effectively with supplier partners through reports, sales figures, market information, and product development updates.
- Gather market intelligence.
- Ensure a robust supply chain with accurate forecasting and stock management.
- Cultivate new supplier relationships.
Qualifications and Experience
- Technical education to BSc level or equivalent industrial experience.
- Commercially astute, technical salesperson with knowledge of speciality raw materials and formulations for the Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, and Resins sectors.
- Ability to develop product formulations and identify customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Business acumen to attract and develop new supplier partners.
- Team player with a growth mindset and drive to succeed.
- Active engagement with Industry organizations.
- Determination, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm, and loyalty.
In return, our Client offers a salary of £45,000 – £55,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience), plus benefits including an expensed company car, five weeks holiday, pension, healthcare, and a bonus scheme.
