NYCOA seeks bright, detail-oriented, and highly organized Lab Technicians for their team in Manchester, New Hampshire. Lab Technicians will follow all quality control procedures for inspecting incoming raw materials and testing of finished products. The successful candidate will be familiar with laboratory work, comfortable with multitasking and have a solid understanding of the quality concepts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform chemical and mechanical testing of finished products supporting Operations and R&D activities.
- Responsible for logging data into the Quality system & releasing product.
- Record effluent readings and send daily emails to the City of Manchester.
- Collect samples for any non-standard quality testing (product hold, customer issues, etc.).
- Input quality data into the quality system and release incoming raw materials.
- Support R&D activities on an as-needed basis.
- Perform some equipment calibrations.
- Perform training and test method review with other Technicians.
- Attend daily production meetings to communicate results as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean lab space.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A technical degree or previous laboratory experience is strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong multi-tasking skills.
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office, E-mail).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all departments and levels of the organization.
SCHEDULE
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- This position follows a rotating schedule, providing employees with 5 days off every other week.
- Week 1: Wednesday & Thursday (2 shifts / 24 regular hours)
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (5 shifts / 40 regular hours + 20 overtime hours)
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS
- The starting wage is $20.52 per hour. Once fully trained (typically 90 days), wage increases to $23.58 per hour + $1.50 shift differential.

- Eligibility for 401(k) after 6 months.
