To service, repair and test mechanical and hydraulic pressure control equipment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintaining and testing various pressure control equipment.
- Assist in service, repair and testing of all Well Services equipment.
- To assist mechanics on other projects as instructed by the Operations Supervisor.
- To assist on an ad-hoc basis offshore and overseas on pressure control projects.
- To complete the necessary paperwork for the equipment for regular DNV sign-off.
- To ensure that asset card maintenance routines are completed correctly.
- To complete final checks on equipment prior to despatch.
- To complete timesheets on a weekly basis.
- To use forklift and overhead crane to prepare, load and unload equipment.
- The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive QHSE culture by taking reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others at all times. Be prepared to challenge unsafe acts and behaviour and report these using the correct reporting procedures.
- Consistently demonstrate and model behaviours that reflect the company values.
- Be disciplined in completing mandatory training assigned relevant to the role designed to help protect the safety and security of the organisation and its employees.
Qualifications and certification:
- Mechanical Qualification (HNC/HND, Modern Apprenticeship, SVQ).
- Forklift certificate (B1 & B3).
- Offshore qualified (preferred).
- Hytorc Training.
Skills & Competencies:
- Forklift.
- OHGC incorporating Banksman Slinger.
- Hytorc.
- Offshore qualifications (preferred).
Experience:
- Mechanical / Pressure control experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial.
- Previous experience with Pressure Control equipment is required.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
