Our client, a well-established engineering business serving the energy and industrial sectors, is looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join its Aberdeen-based team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical / Electronic Engineer with experience in UPS / low-voltage electrical power systems who is looking to take ownership of technically varied projects from initial specification through to delivery.
The Role
- Working closely with the wider engineering and technical teams, you will be involved in the full project lifecycle, with responsibilities including:
- Preparing project specifications and technical quotations
- Developing system designs and parts specifications
- Producing testing specifications for project delivery
- Managing projects through to completion
- Preparing work packs, technical documentation, and reports
- Procuring equipment and components required for projects
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations
- Supporting product certification activities, including CE compliance
The role may also involve occasional offshore travel to carry out site surveys.
About You
- To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial low-voltage electrical power systems
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience working with DC chargers and UPS Systems

Additional Information
