This is a great opportunity for a graduate / HNC / HND holder (possibly with some commercial experience) to join a leading software house in Bristol.
The role will work closely with software development teams to help evaluate, test and validate PCB design software. The role will not involve any PCB design itself, but requires someone with an understanding of PCB design to provide feedback to development teams on new software features and functionality.
You may have some commercial experience as a PCB Designer or an Electronics Engineer and be keen to move into the software sector, or be looking to make that move after gaining a qualification in something similar to:
- Electronic Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Computer Systems Engineering
- Robotics
- Physics (if electronics modules were covered)
You do not need to be an expert in PCB design; an appreciation of PCB design / electronics is fine, and you can be put through industry recognised courses to get up to speed.
