Service Delivery Director (High Performance Computing / HPC) – Fully remote £80,000 – £100,000 + bonus + health/life/income insurance This is a great opportunity for an IT infrastructure focused Service Delivery Director / Technical Services Director with a strong Linux background to join a leading technical consultancy, helping to lead the delivery of HPC related managed services and projects. Due to significant expansion into the USA, this role will be working closely with a US based team and therefore will need to be willing to work mainly to US east coast time zones (typically starting at 13:00 and finishing at 22:00). It would suit someone with a background in managed service delivery, with significant experience helping external customers in the delivery of complex technical services. The Service Delivery Director will have a range of responsibilities, including: * Identifying opportunities for service enhancements * Ensuring high quality service delivery * Stakeholder management * Team management including driving recruitment * Planning resources and projects The role would be ideal for someone with the following skills/experience: * A background in managed service delivery * Experience of Linux infrastructure systems management * Excellent leadership skills * Service metrics and ITIL * A technical degree would be beneficial * High performance computing experience would be beneficial but is not essential Some of the benefits that come with the Service Delivery Director role include: * A starting salary of £80k+ * Health insurance * Life insurance * Income protection * 30 days paid holiday, plus banks on top * Buy or sell up to 5 days holiday on top * Fully remote work
